Camping

We had asked our kids if they wanted to go to Disneyland or buy and tent trailer and they chose a tent trailer. On Monday, July 7, 2008 we bought a cute little tent trailer. The next day I went to girls camp for a week, but the kids spent most of the week in the trailer in our backyard. When I got home on Friday they had the trailer packed and said, "Let's go mom." I asked for at least a shower and then we headed off. The campsite we tried was full so we kept going up the mountain and ended going up and over the mountain on a little dirt road. We luckily ended up at Wasatch Mountain State Park, and had a great time. We parked next to some scary looking drunks. We were a little nervous, so we went into the tent trailer and said a prayer. A few minutes later they came and asked us about firewood and during the conversation we made friends with them and they ended up being really nice. They told us they would be quiet and if they got out of line they would tone it down. One thing we remember about them was when they came to borrow plates, utensils and so forth. We asked if they needed any cups and they held up their beers cans and replied, "No thanks, we have cans." We had dutch oven dinner and cake. It was yummy. The next day we went fishing and Bekah caught a fish. It was a rainbow trout. We ate him for Sunday dinner. I think we will get a lot of use out of our trailer, and create even more wonderful memories.
